Moving Tips

• Schedule as far in advance as possible.
• Answer questions thoroughly to receive the most accurate quote.
• Request specialty items such as floor covering and mattress bags prior to the date of your move.
• Choose boxes that are appropriate for the items that will be packed in them. (ex., dishes should be packed in dish-pack boxes.) Not doing so could cause unnecessary damage.
• Label boxes so that they can easily be placed in their proper location at your new address.
• Whenever possible, avoid using plastic or mesh bags to pack your belongings to prevent damage.
• Avoid using damaged boxes to better protect your items.
• Avoid over packing your boxes.Empty drawers of their items to minimize the weight of your dressers and chests.
• Clearly mark the destination of each box on top and sides.
• Review your invoice upon arrival of the movers to make sure you are in agreement with the policies and procedures before the move begins.
• Bring any unlikely damage to your walls, floor, etc., to the attention of the movers prior to the completion of your move.
• Expect excellent customer service and accept nothing less.
